    Wheel/Tire Size

Will 16x7.5 offset 48 /205-45-16 fit nicely? Tires are in house.

    Hi SHIFTER

    https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...7-5&offset2=48

Overall diameter : you will loose 17mm meaning you will be lower on the ground, but the arch gap will increase ( half the value )
Speedo will be affected by almost 3% less than real speed, acceleration will be better
the whell/tire will be closer to the struts / car parts ( 11mm ) but will poke 15mm more than stock outside

My personal advice : less ET, to give more clearance with the parts, more whell flush and more width
if you keep with 205/45R16, the car must be lowered to reduce the wheel gap or test the values with 205/50R16
You don't find wheels with 7" width ? or you have an opportunity with 7"1/2 ?

    16 x 7 ET45 with 205/40 tyres is perfect IMO

car is lowered 30mm all around. P.S. im guessing that the 16 inch stock rims have an offset of 50 et?? Any one confirm that?

ok 16x6.5 . to keep it on the low weight end aftermarket wheel would be a waste of money unless a cool wheel within weight
comes along and you say mount them.
