    SSS headlight turned pink!

    Hi folks,
The driver's side xenon dipped beam headlight on my Sport turned pink and dim yesterday. I think it's the D2S bulb on its way out. What are the chances it's the ballast instead? The car has done 60,000+ miles, and is 4 years old.
    Thanks :-)

It's the bulb. If it were the ballast, then it wouldn't have lit the bulb at all.

The bulb turned very pale green the next day then didn't work at all. I've ordered a pair of Osram Xenarc Night Breaker Unlimited bulbs as replacement.
The local Suzuki dealer quoted £238.14 for one bulb with free fitting

I paid £74 from www.powerbulbs.com for a pair by Osram. There are much cheaper items but I wanted a known brand.
